Hey there! I'm Saumya
A product designer with a Master's in Human-Centered Design from Pace University. My UX journey started in 2020 during my bachelor's in India — when I went looking for skills that resonated with me and found my sweet spot at the intersection of design, psychology, and research.
You might find me wandering the city, hunting for hidden cafe gems, sketching in coffee shops, or reorganizing my life on Notion 🌆🧋

The Story So Far

Fresh out of engineering, I discovered UX design through online courses and never looked back. Got my Google UX Design Certification, started freelancing, and landed my first real project — Richedu, a Canada-based EdTech platform where I led the design process from dashboards to visual identity.
Moved to New York to pursue a Master's in Human-Centered Design at Pace University. Worked on five academic projects, participated in a Monday.com × Shenkar University hackathon, and fell in love with the chaos and energy of the city.
First corporate design experience — a 10-week internship at SAP, designing supplier onboarding and invoice management dashboards. Fast-paced, humbling, and exactly the push I needed.
Got accepted into CERN IdeaSquare's CBIA3 project. Travelled to Geneva for a two-week program — blending science with design at the actual CERN workspace. A once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Graduated with honors and received the Human-Centered Design Award from Pace University — a really nice way to close out an incredible chapter.
ACHIEVEMENT
Human-Centered Design

Joined CX by Design as a UX Designer, working on client projects across e-commerce and enterprise. Led the navigation and IA redesign for REL Acoustics' website relaunch — my first time owning an entire design workstream from research through to UAT with a dev agency.
Currently a Product Designer at Yabla, a language learning platform. Leading the integration of Live Learning into a 20-year-old product — unifying fragmented experiences without breaking what already works. Equal parts systems thinking, user research, and careful iteration.
